Limiting & Eliminating Foods While Dieting
Many popular diets restrict,
and in some cases, entirely eliminate foods from the
daily diet plan. Entire food groups from the Official
Pyramid may be eliminated.
On the other hand, the
USDA is still amending the pyramid, not solid in what
foods OR what amount of foods should be part of the
daily diet. However, by all Health Indicators,
they remain King in this arena.
If you are
considering a diet plan that eliminates foods from the
official food pyramid for weight loss, take a good look
at the diet plan before cozying up to it. Take
it to your doctor - ask if it's a healthy plan. If
you can't do without the diet plan, then amend and bring
it to a healthier state.
While some
foods should be limited while dieting, the elimination
of foods from the diet is a ticket to Weight Loss Failure.
