Recipe for Quiche Royal - Serves 8 generously for about 175 calories per slice.

Diet Recipe Ingredients

1 Uncooked Pie Shell
1 Carton of Egg Substitute

1 ½ Cups of skim Milk

4 Slices of Bacon, Microwaved & Crumbled

½ Teaspoon of Salt

¼ Teaspoon of Cracked Black Pepper

1 ½ Cups of Reduced Fat Monterey Jack Cheese

Bake pie shell till almost done, then remove from hot oven. Stir together remaining ingredients in a large bowl & pour into shell.  

Bake in 325 degree preheated oven for about half an hour, or till knife inserted in centre comes out clean.  

Let goody stand 10 minutes before eating. Thy may’st enjoy 2 slices of Quiche Royal. Add 2 cups of fresh vegetables to thy meal or a salad.

May add coffee/tea if desired prepared with low fat creamer and no calorie sugar to menu.

A fruity refreshing recipe for your diet! Pita Pocket Full of Strawberries - Low Fat, Low Calorie Fruit Recipe for Weight Loss


1 Pita Pocket Bread
2 Cups of Fresh SMALL Strawberries (Room Temperature)

1/2 Cup of Blueberries (Optional)
4 Tablespoons of Light Whipped Topping

2-3 Packets Splenda OR Equal

Non Stick Cooking Spray

No Calorie Refrigerated Butter Spray

Powdered Sugar

Spray outside of pita with butter spray.  Place in a skillet sprayed with non stick cooking spray.  Allow pita to warm to a golden brown shade, then remove.

While pita cools, quickly mix the berries with the Splenda.   Cut pita in half and fill with berry mixture.  Add topping.  Lay flat and sprinkle with a bit of powdered sugar.

You may also choose to mix the topping and berries before filling.

Makes 2 very generous servings for about 160 calories each.  This is a delightful breakfast treat that sets well on the tum-tum on a hot summer day.
