Free Diet Menu - The Macho Mexican Daily Diet Menu

There is a big assumption in the Diet World that anything Mexican is everything Unhealthy.   Not true!   Most of this wonderful culture's menu's can be ultra healthy and add zip to your dull diet.   Here's our free Mexican menu for the day, and take note that when no measurement has been given that the dieter should season to personal taste:

Breakfast Menu: (About 300 Calories)

Little Taquito:   1 scrambled egg scrambled in buttery no calorie, non-stick spray.   Roll into a small flour tortilla with 1/2 slice of real cheese and a dash of salsa.
1/2 cup of melon
1 cup of skim milk.
coffee/tea if desired prepared with low fat creamer and no calorie sugar

Mid Morning Snack: (About 60 Calories)

1 fresh orange OR 1 cup of orange juice, unsweetened - you may freeze the orange if you wish for a delightful diet treat.

Lunch Menu: (About 450 Calories)

Taco Tea-i-wanta:   2 corn tortilla shells, steamed or crisp from a store bought box.   Fill with 2 Tablespoons each of cooked extra lean ground beef seasoned with finely chopped onion and chili powder.   Top with as much chopped lettuce, chopped onion, salsa  and diced tomato as you wish.   Dust with grated cheese.
 
Enjoy a side-salad of the lettuce and tomato, served with 2 Tablespoons of light salad dressing.
 
Enjoy 1 cup of fresh pineapple topped with Splenda if desired.

Mid Afternoon Snack: (About 100 Calories)

1 banana - small, medium or large

Dinner Menu:   (About 400 Calories)

Chullapa Bambino:   3 tostada shells (such as El Paso).   Top each with a smear of refried beans that have been seasoned with the following: diced onion, chopped cilantro, salsa, dash cumin, chili powder. Top with 1/2 slice of real cheese and salsa.   Pop into the microwave or oven until hot.   Remove, then top with salad mix of: chopped lettuce - finely chopped, diced onion, diced tomato, grated cheese and salsa.
 
1 single-serving sized container of light 70-110 calorie flavored yogurt to which 6 Tablespoons of LIGHT whipped topping has been folded into.
 
coffee/tea if desired prepared with low fat creamer and no calorie sugar

Bedtime Snack: (About 125 Calories)

1 cup of skim milk blended with 1/2 cup frozen fruit plus Splenda to taste (our favorite is strawberries)
