WEIGHT LOSS - DIET CANDY
Candy makes an unsightly Diet Bedfellow and can tip the scales in favor of weight gain rather than weight loss. The two culprits in candy are familiar enemies in many foods that contribute to weight gain: FAT & SUGAR.
Candies containing caramel, chocolate and nuts tend to be fatty while hard candies are filled with empty 'sugar' calories.
There are several single-serving candy bars on the market that contain less calories than many protein bars. Although many might argue, with the Fat Factor aside - a candy bar and a vitamin might be less damaging to the weight scales than some high-calorie protein bars.
Here are a few suggestions that may be of help when the Candy Goblin strikes your diet:
Opt for fresh fruit instead;
Opt for a healthy Trail Bar filled with dried fruits;
OR have a couple of dark chocolate Hershey's Kisses.
After all, not many men can pass up a delicious kiss!
