STRESS, DIET, HEALTH EFFECTS
On a diet? Odds are that once the newness wears off, reality will settle in and along with it, a level of cranky. Cranky....just being called cranky can make one cranky, can't it? No one wants to be considered cranky and particularly someone who is trying their best to modify their diet and drop unwanted pounds.
If you are dieting and find that you are feeling more on edge than normal, the following tips may come to the rescue!
Try to reclaim your level of excitement that you had when you first began your diet. What propelled that excitement? Why has the excitement faded or abandoned you?
Is that new diet plan what you expected? If not - get busy modifying it so that you can get those unwanted pounds off. To be frank, we believe that there is no such thing as a perfect diet BUT a good diet plan can be adjusted so that it fits your personal lifestyle and tastes.
Keep in mind that after experiencing an exciting change in our lives, many of us tend to climb out of the clouds - some of us hitting the ground with a thud. Allowing a time for adjustment may make or break a diet plan.
Try to insert elements into your diet that excite you - that please you whether it's adding a pretty vase of flowers to the table or a low calorie version of your favorite food.
