Cutting the fat from your diet is an easy way to kick in quick weight loss.  However, keep in mind that the body requires a bit of fat to operate smoothly.   

Here is a list of our top ten suggestions for cutting back on fat:

1.  Switch from Mayo to mustard.

2. Switch from whole milk to skimmed or fat free milk.

3. Toss the butter out the window and use no calorie butter sprays instead.

4. Cook with no calorie cooking spray rather than oils.

5. On those occasions where you do use oil, use olive oil.

6. Avoid the hot buttered popcorn when you go to the movies.

7. Choose fresh fruit or raw vegetables as snacks rather than cookies or candy.

8. Trim off the visible fat from meats.

9. Avoid creamed sauces, creamed vegetables and creamed soups.

10. Replace tartar sauce with catsup.
