Gourmet Chicken Salad Sandwiches
A time saving low calorie recipe with a fruity twist.
Purchase prepared chicken to save time. In our area, it's currently about the same price as raw chicken.
To prepared our Gourmet Chicken Salad Sandwiches, you will need:
1 cup of chopped/cubed roasted chicken, skin and bones removed
4 cups of baby spinach, salad greens or field greens of your choice
1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes
Dash of celery salt (optional)
1/4 cup of golden raisins - or you can use dark raisins, dried cranberries or dried pineapple
1 Tablespoon of hulled sunflower seeds OR your favorite chopped nuts
1/2 cup of Miracle Whip Light
Salt & Pepper
Combine the above ingredients and spread onto your favorite bread. Whole grain bread will render more healthy benefits than traditional white bread.
