Thin Thin - Still Naughty But Healthier Recipes
Grandma Taylor's Pickled Jalapeno's
A reduced calorie, reduced fat recipe.
- The Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 Tablespoon of pickling spice
- 1/4 cup of olive oil

- Wash jalapeno peppers and pack into prepared sterilized jars. (Until sterilized jars can be filled keep them hot by filling with boiled water.) Next, combine the above in a sauce pan.

- Bring the above ingredients to a boil then pour over pepper. Seal jars. Hot bath for ten minutes from letting water return to boil around the jars. Jars must be covered with water in pan. Use rack in bottom of pan if possible.
