Mushroom Caps - Holiday Appetizer Recipes for
Dieters
Put on your mushroom cap and search for the large button mushrooms
at your local market. It's easy to wow guests without
wowing yourself out.
You will need the following ingredients for this
diet-wise recipe:
1 pound of clean button-type mushrooms, stems removed
olive oil
1 box of packaged stuffing OR your prepared stuffing
Simply brush the mushrooms with olive oil and place
into the oven until golden - caps down. Next, remove
and fill with a spoon of the stuffing mix. Add a few
dried cranberries and chopped walnuts to the stuffing
mix before filling the mushroom caps if desired. Arrange
on a serving tray and decorate with holiday decorations
and parsley.
