Nutcracker Pie - Holiday Dessert Recipes for
Dieters
The only thing missing from our delicious Nutcracker
Pie is the nuts! Simply spray a non-stick pan with Pam,
then press in the crust mixture. Next, pour the filling
mixture into the crust and bake in a preheated 375-degree
about 30 minutes - or until golden brown. Cool
before serving OR serve warm. Top with light whipped
topping if desired OR low fat frozen yogurt.
You will need the following ingredients for this
diet-wise recipe:
CRUST MIXTURE: Simply mix together and press into
oven-proof pie plate.
Graham Crackers, crushed (about 6 full crackers)
Parkay Zero Calorie Butter Spray (about 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup of Splenda
FILLING MIXTURE: Simply mix and pour into prepared
crust.
2 Cans of Apple Pie Filling prepared with Splenda
(110 calories per can)
1 Tablespoon of Ground Cinnamon
TOPPING MIXTURE: Simply mix flour and sugar, then
use fingers to work margarine into dry mixture until
it resembled tiny crumbs. Place on top of Nutcracker
Pie before baking.
1/2 cup of all-purpose white flour
1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
1/4 cup of margarine
