Lady
Godiva’s Tasty Pumpkin Bred, a Medieval Recipe
Recipe
is about 2,400 calories (about 10 servings for 240 calories each)
Lady Godiva’s Tasty Pumpkin
Bread is so naughty tasting, but oh so low on calories & fat. How
can that be?
The fat hath been trimmed
via use of applesauce which hath been traded out for oil. Oil is loaded
with calories & of course, fat – about 130 calories per mere teaspoon. Yes,
one more reason for a grown village dieter to cry. But harketh! Set
aside the lamentation.
The applesauce adds a moist texture to the cake
& thee whilst never miss that fatty oil. Slick trick, isn’t it? That’s
what the Court Jester told the newly knighted King.
But beware, the good village
dieter. After consuming this tasty goody, the might find theself suddenly
as thin as Lady Godiva herself & be prone to disrobe in the streets of the
village. So please contain theself, as it is very illegal these days.
New king. New rules, you see.
