a good whiff of sugary ingredients, many hath been replaced with healthier alternatives.
Enjoy a couple of cookies with a tall glass of ice box skimmed milk that
hath 1 teaspoon of vanilla added into it’s contents.
- Ingredients
for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe
- 4 Cups of
Bread Flour
- ¼
Cup of Vegetable Shortening
- ½
Cup of Light Colored Brown Sugar
- 12 Packets
of No Calorie Sweetener
- 1 Teaspoon
of Baking Soda
- Dash of
Salt
- 1 Teaspoon
of Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon
of Ground Cloves
- 1 Teaspoon
of Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Teaspoon
of Ground Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons
of Disuntiled White Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon
of REAL Vanilla Extract
- ½
Cup of Molasses
- 1 Hen Egg
THE WET
Cream sugar, shortening,
egg, molasses, vanilla & vinegar in a very large bowl.
THE DRY
Combine flour, spices,
salt & baking soda in a separate mixing bowl.
THE REST
Add dry ingredients to
wet ingredients & combine until smooth. Allow to firm up in the refrigerator
for several hours, or overnite.
Place dough on a lightly
floured board & roll to about a ½ inch thickness. Cut out using
gingerbread boy cookie cutters that hath been dipped in a smidgen of flour.
Bake in a 375 degree preheated
oven until done – about 5-7 minutes.
