King Peach Cobbler, Medieval Recipes

4 generously for about 225 calories each
Looking for a medieval recipe that's low in calories,
low in fat and that will fit nicely into the diet plan? The King’s Cobbler is
peachy king! Enjoy with a scoop of frozen lite whipped topping.
- Ingredients
for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe
- 1 Medium
Sized Can of Light Peaches
- 2 Teaspoons
of Ground Cinnamon
- 6-10 Packets
of No Calorie Sweetener
- 1 ½
Cup of Old Fashioned Oatmeal
- 4 Tablespoons
of Light Colored Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon
Cornstarch
- Non-Stick
Cooking Spray
Spray an 8 inch by 8 inch
baking dish with no calorie cooking spray. Line dish with 1 cup of old
fashioned oats. Sprinkle with 2 Tablespoons of the brown sugar & 1
teaspoon of the cinnamon.
Drain peaches. Add
cornstarch to juice & stir until smooth. Return juice to peaches, stir.
Add sugar; stir again. Pour into oatmeal crust. Sprinkle top
with remaining oatmeal, brown sugar & cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees
until warm.
