Mushroom hunting is
an experience to be enjoyed by villagers young & old. All grow extremely
fast & be just as short-lived.

turn thee from an ordinary villager into a Mushroom Hunter. the may’st
even obtain a new hobby whilst losing weight due to the activity of the hunt.
If this sounds appealing to thine ears, some tips lie below to help thee
catch the magic before it vanishes!
- Ingredients
for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe
- 1 Cartonof Button Mushroom, Sliced (About 2 Cups)
- Non-Stick
Cooking Spray
- Salt &
Pepper to the Personal Taste
- ½
Teaspoon of Lemon Pepper OR Juice of One Seeded Lemon
Spray skillet with cooking
spray & allow to heat. Add mushrooms, salt & peppers. Cook
until done. Eat to the heart’s content!
Experiment with the many
varieties of mushrooms. There are close to 40,000 species, so the would’st
hath a long but ‘fungus’ journey before thee.
Try adding mushrooms to
soups, stews, gravies & stirfrys. Mushrooms go especially well with
Italian goodies.
Speaking of Italian, for
a low calorie treat, toast an English Muffin by spraying the top with no calorie
refrigerated butter spray. Place it under a broiler, if possible, until it is
crisp & golden.
Next, add a bit of pizza
sauce. the local market probably sells it in a jar. Next, add 1
slice of REAL cheese or ¼ cup of grated cheese. Pile on some saluted
mushrooms, return to broiler until cheese melts.
This treat hath a crunchy
bite to the crust & the tastebuds may’st pulsate with merriment to the fifth
power as they mingle with the savory cheese, mushrooms & tangy sauce for
about 150 calories.
