Lady Chatterly’s Big Melons
©
Serves 6 generously for about 75 calories each
How can the tell if yon cantaloupe is ripe? Ignore the netting that
surrounds the loupe & lend a watchful eye onto the end of loupe to where
stem rests- the part where loupe was attached to yon vine.
It should’st
be a hue of orange, not green which means the loupe is not yet ripe. Next,
cast a watchful eye onto the bottom of loupe. If it is greenish, wait
a few morrows to eat, at least until it turns a light shade of orange.
