Celtic Flapjacks ‘n Honey

Serves 6 for about 150 calories each
Celtic Flapjacks ‘n Honey are best served with a mound of fresh fruit which
hath been liberally dusted in no calorie sweetener. A bit of cinnamon
sprinkled on top will place a song in the heart & a tingle on the tongue.
- Ingredients
for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe
- 1 Cup of Flour
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- ½ Cup of Water
- ¼ Cup of Dried Cranberries (or raisins, apples, peaches, etc.)
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- No Calorie Refrigerated Butter
- 6 Tablespoons of Honey
Warm cooking spray in a non stick skillet or pan. Mix flour, water,
baking powder, salt & Dried fruit(s). Drop by spoonful onto heated
skillet.
Cook completely on one side, then flatten into flatbread. Flip. Cook
opposite site until golden brown.
After flatbread hath cooked completely, enjoy with a spoon of warm honey
& butter spray or a dollop of jam or the favorite preserves.
