Little John Omelet ©, a Medieval
Recipe
Serves 1 generously for about 250 calories
Little John Omelet is actually very hearty! Very big! Almost
but not quite, barbaric! It just looks that way so big, so much feasting
for so little calories!
Ingredients for Low Fat,
Low Calorie Recipe
- ½ Cartonof Egg Substitute
- Salt & Pepper to the Personal Taste
- ½ Teaspoon Parsley
- ½ Cup Skimmed Milk
- 2 Slices of Bacon, Microwaved & Crumbled
- ½ Cup Grated Cheese the Favorite Flavor
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- No Calorie Refrigerated Butter Spray
Mix eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, milk & butter spray in bowl. Pour
½ of mixture onto hot non-stick skillet that hath been sprayed with cooking
spray.
Cook thoroughly on one side before flipping. Once flipped, allow to
cook until almost done, then add cheese & bacon to one side of circle. Fold
over; remove. Top with fresh parsley if desired.
To spice Little John up a bit, add a few bits of diced bell pepper or onion
to the omelet. Bell peppers come in so many different colors green,
orange, yellow & red!
Or, if thou are very daring, add some hot pepper! Thou will be guaranteed
to sprout hair on the chest, the head & the upper lip.
