Lady Daisy’s Orange Scones - Serves 12 generously for about 175 calories each

Low Fat Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe

3 Cups of White Flour
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
¼ Cup of REAL Sugar
12 Packets of No Calorie Sweetener
2 Tablespoons of Finely Grated Orange Peel
¼ Cup of Finely Chopped Pecans
½ Stick of Margarine
¼ Cup of No Calorie Refrigerated Butter Spray
1 ½ Cups of skim Milk
2 Tablespoons of Vinegar
1 Teaspoon of REAL Vanilla Extract
1 Beaten Hen Egg

Preheat the oven to a smart 425 degrees.   In the meanwhilst, bring out two mixing bowls. Mix all of the dry Low Fat Recipe Ingredients in one bowl. In the other bowl, pour in the milk & vinegar.   Next, add the remaining wet Low Fat Recipe Ingredients, except the 1 beaten hen egg. This will be used to add luster to the scones as they bake.

Low Fat Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe

1 - 8 Ounce Carton of Light Cottage Cheese

1 - 16 Ounce Can of Crushed Unsweetened Pineapple, Undrained

1 Small Package of Orange Sugar-Free Gelatin

1 Small Can of Mandarin Oranges, Drained

1 – 8 Ounce Container of Lite Whipped Topping

Drain the large can of tasty pineapple, reserving the juice. Set pineapple aside. Drain teensy can of Mandarin Oranges, mixing the juice with the previously drained pineapple juice. Doeth not drink this appealing concoction! Proceed directly to the next step & resist the temptation.

Next, prepare gelatin according to the directions on the package, substituting the pineapple juice & the Mandarin Orange juice for the water. Be certain to measure out the juice & add enough water in order to create the fully recommended liquid for preparing gelatin. Do NOT chill. Instead, gallop to the following step.
