Red Gypsy Medieval

Serves 6 generously for about 375 calories each
- Ingredients
for Low Fat, Low Calorie Recipe
- 1 Large Jar of the Favorite Seasoned Tomato Sauce (Red Gypsy Lasagna is based
on a 50 calorie per cup sauce made by Hunts that yields 6 servings.)
- 1 Box of Pre-Baked Lasagna – 8 Ounces
- 1 Cartonof Lowfat Cottage Cheese
- 2 Cups of Skimmed Mozzarella Cheese
- ½ Cup of Parmesan Cheese
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Spray an 8 by 8 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat the
oven to 375 degrees.
Place one layer of lasagna in pan. Pour on ½ of the tomato sauce.
Next, spoon out ½ of the cottage cheese onto the sauce.
Next, add 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese.
Add more lasagna noodles. Add remaining sauce, cottage cheese &
cheese. Top with grated Parmesan. Bake until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
Serve with low calorie Garlic Toast, if desired:
-1 slice of white bread
-garlic salt
-no calorie refrigerated butter spray OR non-stick butter flavored cooking
spray
Spray bread with butter & sprinkle with garlic salt. Pop into toaster
until done.
