Here is our quick recipe: 1 can each of drained kidney beans, wax beans and green beans. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to 1/2 cup of Splenda (adjust to suit your personal taste). Add to the beans and stir until vinegar mixture coats all the beans. Add a small jar of drained pimentos if desired.
Healthy Tip #3 - You can also make healthier baked beans rather than the high-calories ones offered at the local market. Use 1 can of pork-n-beans. Add 1 Tablespoon of molasses + 1/4 cup of brown sugar + 1/4 cup of Splenda. Stir, then heat thoroughly.
