are our favorite diet fixins and a few fajita
tips:
- Steam flour tortilla
shells to save fat and calories.

Search for the lowest calorie flour tortillas
you can find. You'll never miss the
extra dough which will be replaced by healthy,
low calorie, low fat veggies.
- Sauté the following vegetables for an excellent
fajita mix: jicama, cilantro, red
peppers, dried roasted tomatoes, cherry
tomatoes, mushrooms, shredded carrots, shredded
squash, onions, garlic.
- Use lean cuts of chicken, beef and pork.
- Opt for salsa rather than sour cream - and
when using sour cream, opt for light, just
a step down from regular, and a step up
from fat free.
- Opt for shredded low fat, skim mozzarella
cheese.
