Psychological Eating

Everything is just fine, then a heavenly aroma escapes into the air and Dieter Phil glances down at his pants and begins to fish around.....

Darn - no spare change and he's going nuts to have a container of that hot buttered popcorn that's popping inside of the movie theater.

Like Phil, just the smell of hot buttered popcorn can set our cravings in motion.  The appetite is a strange thing, isn't it?   In fact, most of the time that we eat, our appetite it set off by the smell of food OR the thought of food.

Psychological Eating  vs True Appetite.

The next time that you find you're famished, try to determine if something triggered a false sense of hunger - or if you are truly hungry.  Might save you several pounds for your efforts, too!

It's a good thing that we enjoy eating - because if we didn't enjoy eating, we'd surely die.  On the other hand, when we enjoy eating a lot, we surely dieT.  Funny how one little letter can make all the difference, isn't it?

Sort of like that one little donut, one little burrito, one little pizza, one little carton of ice cream.......
