While some diet pills will help quell
the appetite, they can also render uncomfortable, and sometimes alarming effects on the
body. Although we may assume that if something is delivering such intense
side-effects, then it's got to be working
- burning and melting off that extra body
fat. Unfortunately, diet pills will
not melt off body fat BUT they may help
you lose weight by curbing appetite. Weight
loss itself is accomplished through
a continuation healthy diet and moderate activity.
We have become a buy now/pay later society and that has trickled
into our daily diet. And to-date, we just don't have a miracle pill, bush
or drug that will take off the weight gain,
slowly OR swiftly. Even if we did,
it might just kill us if the weight came
off too swiftly.
The
average 2-pound per week rate of weight
loss is almost perfect, allowing the body
to slowly trim down and adjust to continuous
changes. Any faster, and the dieter may
be left with long-term effects, including
skin sag and hair loss.
So
if you're dieting and are considering a
pill or a new miracle drug, we highly encourage
you to visit with your doctor to discuss
all your options. There may be some
prescriptions that will work safely to help
curb your appetite without rendering unwanted
side-effects. To recap, please keep
in mind that although diet pills and prescriptions
may quell appetite, they cannot melt away
body fat. One must ask, "Are
the risks worth the end result?"
