Weight Gain Caused by Lifestyle

Weight gain is often a result of a change of lifestyle.  Some common situations include: transferring to college, getting married, having a baby, changing jobs, promotions, vacations, holidays and moving.

How to Fight Weight Gain Caused by Lifestyle

In order to keep weight gain at bay, we must know why we gain weight during periods where our lifestyle takes a short or permanent change.

We may be happy, a bit apprehensive, insecure or sensitive.  All of these emotions can trigger overeating.

In Summary

If you are entering a phase of your life where you expect a short or permanent change in lifestyle, pay close attention to your diet.  Focus on your menu selections at meal times.  Be sure to balance a healthy diet with activity.

It's a lot nicer to go on a vacation and have fun while arriving home at about the same weight as you left.  Sometimes, fun really isn't fun at all, is it?

Please meet with your personal physician to determine and/or verify the cause of weight gain.  With so many solutions available these days, weight gain is getting much easier to accomplish.
