Weight Gain Caused by Pregnancy

A shift in hormones, the illusion that the tummy is all baby and the 'I'm eating for two' syndrome all contribute to weight gain during pregnancy.

Take note that weight gain during pregnancy is absolutely normal, so the weight gain referred to in this article refers to weight unrelated to the baby.  You know, that package that stays with you after the baby has come - and it's still with you nine months afterwards?  Talk about a special delivery!

How to Fight Weight Gain Caused by Pregnancy

Women that pack on pounds during pregnancy often disregard their diets.  Oh, it's not that they don't attempt to eat healthy - rather they attempt to eat without taking stock that those extra calories will replace the spot where baby vacates in the upcoming months.

In Summary

Pay close attention to your doctor's dieting instructions while pregnant and odds are, you'll be back to your normal weight after the baby arrives.

A perk? If you don't gain extra weight while pregnant, delivery may be a lot easier.

Please meet with your personal physician to determine and/or verify the cause of weight gain.  With so many solutions available these days, weight gain is getting much easier to accomplish.
