Is Your Weight Gain Caused by Too Much Sodium, Fat & Sugar in the
Daily Diet?
Brad wasn't doing
anything different in his daily diet than he had done
when living at his parent's house. However, since
he had moved out, his weight scales had sky-rocketed.
Even the evening jog around the block wasn't helping
to reduce the number or fight off weight gain.
He was still eating
three meals a day and limiting snacks. What was
wrong with his scales?
Was Brad's daily
diet contributing to weight gain?
How Salt, Oil & Sugar
Causes Weight Gain
Salt, Oil, Sugar - looks like
an SOS trying to reach out to Brad, but he just doesn't
see it for the moment. The numbers on his weight
scales are blinding him to the truth.
In fact, Brad is
so concerned with the numbers on his weight scales that
he can't focus on the real problem - his daily diet.
Although Brad is
keeping the amount of food that he eats in check, all
foods are not created equal, particularly when it comes
to sugar, salt and oil.
While his dear
old mother used to boil his vegetables, Brad enjoys
them 'all fried up' these days. French fries,
fried zucchini, fried mushrooms and the all-important
fried onion rings.
And while mom used
to roast or bake his chicken, steak and fish, Brad enjoys
that all fried up too these days.
Brad does a lot
of fast-fooding and those guys aren't cautious when
it comes to the salt shaker. More salt equals
more taste. More salt also equals an intense desire
for more soda - something else those fast-food guys
sale.
And then we come
to the Sugar Trail. While Brad's mom placed out a basket
of fresh fruit, he gets by on fried pies and cupcakes
these days.
In Summary
Sugar contains about 800 calories
per cup with most oils weighing in at about 120 calories
per Tablespoon. With all the oil, sugar and sodium
now injected into Brad's daily diet, no wonder his weight
scales are exploding.
To protect his
life span, Brad should meet with mom to discuss healthier
cooking methods. In addition, Brad would do well to
shoot his salt shaker as sodium is notorious for retaining
water within the body, which in some individuals may
add up to several pounds.
Please meet with your personal
physician to determine and/or verify the cause of weight
gain. With so many solutions available these days,
weight gain is getting much easier to accomplish.
