Review
of the Blood Type Diet Plan

This content
is for informational & reading purposes only.
The Blood Type Diet Plan is a 1996 fad diet developed by Peter D'Adamo, author of Eat Right 4 Your Type, who
had the idea that over time dietary
requirements alter according to environmental factors.
After reviewing this
diet, Type A's might be frightened to drink milk, and Type O's may start running
from the wheat fields - even when there's not a scarecrow in sight! And many of the statements surrounding the Blood Type Diet Plan are even more frightening. Here is just one example:
Example: Hypothyroidism is attributed to Blood Type O's inability to produce
a sufficient amount of iodine in the body.   Fact: Iodine is not produced
in the body, rather an element consumed in our daily diets.
Blood Type O - D'Adamo's recommendation to O's is to get extremely physical,
consume a lot of meat - specifically RED meats, fruits and vegetables, but
they should avoid
grains, corn, and restrict dairy products.
