Using Your 5 Senses
to Lose Pounds - continued
Sense
of Diet Sound
Have you ever visited a restaurant
that was filled with loud chattering, bawling kids and
fussy waiters? Wasn't very enjoyable, was it?
However,
many of us load up our plates, switch on the tube and
hear much the same when we eat - out of habit.
When
dieting, calories are cut - sometimes significantly,
and with a decrease in food intake, you'll want to concentrate
on your meal rather than an ongoing television saga.
So drag
out the fine china which will perk up your Sense of
Diet Sight, then put on a soothing tune if you must
have a little racket.
Sense
of Diet Touch
Listen to your fingers talk!
Is your food greasy to the touch?
Would
cold food be better hot OR hot food be better cold?
As an example, you can create a brand new taste by simply
spraying bread with butter flavored cooking spray, then
toasting to a golden brown on the stovetop - for zero
added calories.
If your
food sticky? Sugar is very hefty when it comes
to calories - about 800 calories per cup. Furthermore,
those are 800 empty calories, nutritionally lacking.
To add
sweetness with no calories, opt for no calorie sweeteners
OR try adding less sugar. Honey is another great
option for sweetening powers - so sweet that it takes
very little.
