FRUITILICIOUS SHAKES- DIET SHAKE RECIPES

Menu Suggestion: Incorporate this slim shake with this free diet menu.

Diet Cabbage Patch Rolls - Makes 4 Servings
Combine the following in a mixing bowl:
1/2 pound lean ground turkey
1 egg
10 coarsely crumbled saltine crackers
sea salt
coarsely ground pepper
1/2 cup of diced onion and diced bell pepper cooked until tender in no calorie cooking spray
 
Drench 4  large cabbage leaves in boiling water until tender.   Be careful!   Allow to cool until they can be filled with meat mixture.
 
Divide meat mixture among  cabbage leaves placing on edge of cabbage leaf.   Fold leaf over with mixture, then fold sides to the inside.   Continue to roll until cabbage resembles tiny loaf.   Place in baking pan that has been sprayed with no calorie, non stick butter flavored cooking spray.
 
Salt and pepper leaves as desired.   Cover with 1 can of Hunt's Traditional style spaghetti sauce.   Bake in oven at 375 until done through and through - about 30 minutes depending on your oven and altitude.
 
Serve with German Pickled Beets.   To prepare, drain sliced canned beets into bowl and add Splenda and 1/4 cup of white vinegar to beet juice.   Add Splenda to suit personal sweetness.   Carefully return beets to juice and refrigerate until ice cold.  
 
Best made a day or two ahead of time.
 
Also enjoy a large salad of: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrots and mushrooms drizzled with your favorite low calorie salad dressing.

Shake Me Cherry© - Slimming Diet Shake Recipes

Serves 2 for about 125 calories each

 

This Cherry filled shake will turn a frustrated dieter into a cheery dieter! There's even some notable nutrition in this shake: skim milk, real fruit.

INGREDIENTS FOR DIET SHAKE
 
2 cups of ice cold skim milk
1 cup of frozen cherries
1 teaspoon of REAL vanilla extract
1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired 

Blend until thick and frothy.   Pour into chilled glasses and enjoy.
