CANDY SHAKES- DIET SHAKE RECIPES

Menu Suggestion: Try incorporating this tasty slim shake and this diet recipe in your daily diet menu:

Michigan Omelet - The Wake - We have named our tasty diet omelet The Wake because it will wake up even the deadest of diets.   You can use egg substitute and save a bunch of calories and cholesterol but we have chosen to use real eggs in The Wake.

You'll need: 3 egg whites and 1 egg yolk, 1/2 cup of skim milk, sauteed mushrooms (1/4 cup), sauteed onions (1/4 cup), sauteed bell pepper (1/4 cup), salt, pepper, 1 thin slice of baked ham (25 calories per slice - and cut ham into small pieces)  and 1 ounce of Velveeta cheese (80 calories) - grated or chopped into small pieces so that you can place on omelet with ease for easy melting.   Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper  until fluffy pour into non-stick skillet sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray.   Allow eggs to cook on bottom side, then carefully turn.   Use more cooking spray if necessary but be careful not to spray into burners - particularly open flames.

Top with all the remaining ingredients, placing them to one side.   Fold.   Serves one for about 300 calories.

Candy Bar Shake© - Slimming Diet Shake Recipes

Serves 2  for about 125  calories each

Ingredients for this Diet Friendly Shake
1 ½ cup of ice cold skim milk
1-3 ice cubes
½ Mounds Bar
1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

Blend all ingredients and pour into chilled glasses.   Top with 2 Tablespoons of whipped topping, if desired for an additional 15 calories more per serving.
