CANDY SHAKES- DIET SHAKE RECIPES

Menu Suggestion: Try incorporating this tasty slim shake and this diet recipe in your daily diet menu:

Fisherman's Diet Catch - At your local market, have 1/4 pound of shrimp steamed at the fresh-fish counter. Once home, place shrimp into a small bowl and squeeze on the juice of one lime and one lemon.  Next, sprinkle with garlic salt and chili powder.  Seal container. Allow to marinate overnight.  

To prepare the lemon lime shrimp, drain then  place in a non-stick skillet sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray.  Toss in 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley and 1/4 cup of diced onions.  Once shrimp is hot, add 1/2 cup of minute rice and 1/2 cup of water.  Remove from heat and cover for 5 minutes.  Shrimp may be enjoyed with sweet n sour sauce.  Serves one for about 250 calories.

Cinnamon Caress©

Serves 23  for about 155  calories each

Ingredients for this Diet Friendly Shake
1 ½ cup of ice cold skimmed milk
4 Tablespoons of cinnamon hazelnut coffee creamer (40 calories per Tablespoon)
1 Tablespoon of red hot candies
2-4 ice cubes
1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

Blend all ingredients pour into chilled glasses.   Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
