CANDY SHAKES - DIET SHAKE RECIPES

Menu Suggestion: Try incorporating this tasty slim shake and this diet recipe in your daily diet menu:

Grilled Sea Bass - Wrap clean, gutted sea bass in aluminum foil.  Before sealing, sprinkle the following on sea bass: juice of one fresh lemon, salt, lemon pepper.

Bake in oven (or grill on grill) at 350 degrees until flaky.

Enjoy 3 ounces for about 100 calories.

 OR this tasty diet recipe:

Tostadas - Smear 4 tostada shells with the following: 1/4 can of refried beans mixed with 1 Tablespoon of chili powder and 1/4 cup of sauteed diced onions.  Top with a salad mix of chopped lettuce, onion, tomato and one ounce of grated cheese.  Sprinkle on the salsa.  Serves one generously for about 400 calories.

 

The Witch's Broomstick©

Serves 3  for about 125  calories each

2 cups of ice cold skimmed milk
1 Chic-o-Stick (260 calories)
1 Tablespoon of butterscotch morsels, if desired (70 calories worth)
2-4 ice cubes
1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

Blend all ingredients until thick and frothy. Pour into chilled glasses.  The morsels will add a buttery flavor to your broom.

 

Diet Shake Tip:  

  • Morsels are a great way to enjoy a quick, energizing treat without blowing your diet.   Simply measure out a teaspoon or tablespoon and enjoy, one sweet morsel at a time.
