How can I lose weight fast?  I once chatted to my family doctor about weight loss and he surprised by telling me that he could make anyone lose a lot of weight very, very quickly.  I asked him, how much weight and how fast would that weight loss occur?  He sarcastically told me, "Eighty pounds - or more. Whatever number, that could be accomplished overnight."

I was shocked and relaxed a bit when he continued, "Of course, the person wouldn't live to see another day. The missing piece is finding out how to accomplish fast weight loss without killing the patient."

Summary - Fast Weight Loss - Keep in mind that although you want to lose weight rapidly, you also need to lose weight safely.  The dieter can do a lot to speed up the rate of weight loss, but there is a limit as to what can be accomplished in the rate of speed that the weight is lost.  A two-pound per week weight loss is very desirable and you should pat yourself on the back whenever you accomplish that!

- Enjoy thinner slices of the foods you love.
- Incorporate more activity into your daily life.
