Wouldn't it be swell to look younger just because of the foods that you eat?
Actually, you can - based on studies that have been performed on foods that prevent ageing.
The foods that have been associated with preventing age are foods that make up the healthy Food Pyramid. (And we had secretly hoped it would have been cookies and candy.)
These age-preventing foods free the radicals, break down cancer-causing carcinogens, assist in blood sugar stabilization, assist in lowering bad cholesterol, assist in maintaining healthy blood pressure levels, and are packed with big does of vitamins which our bodies require. Many of the foods that prevent aging are indeed stinky foods.
Those foods that have been shown in studies to help prevent aging include: olive oil, cantaloupe, mangos, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, apricots, blueberries, citrus fruit (limes, lemons, grapefruit, oranges, kiwi), guava, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, squash, yogurt, apples, strawberries, grapes, cherries, oat bran (remember your morning bowl of oatmeal), green tea, garlic, chives, shallots, onions, tuna, salmon, mackerel (not holy mackerel), sardines, trout, soy products.
