The South Beach Diet Plan - Review of South Beach Diet Plan Beginning of Article by Diet BitesThis content is for informational & reading purposes only. If a person is extremely overweight, then yes they probably will drop 13 pounds. On the other hand, if you're needing to lose 25 pounds or so, then this 13 pounds is going to be a big percentage of your overall weight. About the only way that this gigantic amount of weight loss could transpire would be if you became grossly dehydrated or lost a large supply of water-weight. Fat is not going to melt off that quickly. And yes, here is a tissue because that is very sad. I'll take a tissue too. This type of weight loss is temporary and will quickly be regained. And it's actually more dangerous than never losing the weight! Yo-yo here, yo-yo there - it's just not going to work if the lifestyle changes in a person's diet don't roll over into a healthy eating plan. So if you do choose to go on The South Beach Diet Plan, then plan to lapse into a healthy eating regime afterwards.
Slow weight loss is healthy weight loss.
Although the dieter is given the impression that The South Beach Diet Plan is heart-healthy, it doesn't seem feasible to achieve desired LDL levels with so much animal fat in the diet.
1.The first phase of the diet plan mocks the Atkins plan, greatly restricting carbs. 2. The second phase of the diet plan mocks Sugar Busters & the Zone. And if you start gaining weight, then you're instructed to return to part one. 3. The third part of the diet plan allows the dieter to eat almost anything they want BUT if weight gain occurs...that's right! Do not pass GO, do not collect $200 - go directly to phase one! So why would a dieter want to do that? Obviously, if the dieter starts to regain the weight they just lost (due to a depletion of water in the body) then why would they want to continue the diet? But obviously, there are some great success stories out there surrounding this popular fad diet, so again - it's just a choice that you'll have to make. Is the South Beach Diet right for you? Please note though, that if you do have heart problems that it would be on the Wise-Side to check with your doctor before proceeding with this diet plan OR any diet plan. Bottom Line: If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need a diet that will work from day 1 until the last day of your Official Diet. You need a diet plan that provides permanent weight loss. Doing Diet Time is H-E-double hockey sticks. Make it worth the pain and don't regain! Many people swear by The South Beach Diet and have achieved weight loss success. So if you decide that it's the diet for you, read the book thoroughly and think the diet plan through. When all is said and done, the real bottom line is that, 'It's your choice and your's alone.'
