Free Illinois Diet Menu - Total Calories 435
Log Cabin Chili - Start with 1/2 pound of lean ground turkey (don't worry! You won't be able to tell the turkey from the fatty beef once we're done.). Brown in a non-stick pot; add 1/4 cup of diced onions, 1/4 cup of diced bell pepper, 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of catsup, 1 Tablespoon of chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt; salt and pepper to suit personal taste, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin and three cups of water. Cook until bubbly. About 150 calories per cup.
1 Biscuit - Country, Buttermilk, etc. - Allow 110 calories. Spray with no calorie butter.
Side Salad - 2 cups of the Following Mix - Field greens, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes. Serve with Ken's Walnut Raspberry Dressing OR your favorite low calorie dressing. About 100 calories.
Dessert - Enjoy 1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries topped with 2 Tablespoons of light whipped topping. About 75 calories.
