Free Washington Diet Menu - Total Calories 285
Hunter's Stew - Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons of chopped onions, 2 beef bullion cubes, 3 ounces of cubed beef, 1/2 cup of thinly sliced carrots, 1/2 potato peeled and cubed into bite-sized pieces. Cook beef and onion in a non-stick skillet sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray. Allow beef to brown well, then scrape bottom of pan to collect beef juices; add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add bullion cubes and carrots and allow to cook for about 10 minutes; add potato and cook until fork tender. Thicken with cornstarch and water or a bit of flour and water. Serves two for about 175 calories each.
Enjoy with biscuit or dinner roll for about 100 calories.
Dessert - Enjoy sugar free gelatin for about 10 calories per serving.
