To savor the flavors of Delaware while dieting, we have created a menu that reflects the good things of this great state. Our Weight Loss Diet Formula.

Free Delaware Diet Menu - Total Calories 470

Hayride Biscuits - Start with your favorite BIG biscuits (allow maximum calories of 150 for biscuit).  Bake, then split when cooled.  Fill with deli-thin lean honey ham (40 calories per serving), and 1 slice of cheese (70 calories), lettuce, sliced tomato and a smear of Mayo.  Serves 1 for about our recipe for 260 calories.

 

Delaware Diet Diamonds - Coat skillet thoroughly with cooking spray.  Carefully slice medium sized yam into thin slices, then cook in skillet until they reach preferred doneness.  Spray with no calorie butter while still hot. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Makes 2 servings for about bout 60 calories each.

Big Ice Slaw - Shred wedge of cabbage and 1 carrot.  Add dash of celery seed, salt and pepper.  Add 1 Tablespoon of milk and 1 Teaspoon of golden raisins (optional).  Add Splenda to meet personal preference. Makes 2 servings for about 50 calories each.

Dessert - Howdy Apple Pandowdy - Chop one small apple into bite size pieces, tossing away the core but leaving on the peel.  Place into a non-stick skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.  Cook until tender on low heat - about 5 minutes.  Add 1 Tablespoon of no calorie butter, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of light OR dark brown sugar.  Heat thoroughly.  Serves one for about 100 calories.
