Which Weight Loss Diet is Best?

Are you trying to lose unwanted weight and find that you are a bit like a wagon train being circled by wild injuns?   Diet Weight Loss Plans to your left, Diet Weight Loss Programs to your right with you standing in the middle - right in the line of fire? And sometimes, right in the fire itself?

If so, let's try to point your into the right direction and help you find the best weight loss diet for you!   Before we can go forward, you must be certain of the answer to the following question:

  Are you physically, mentally, and emotionally able to start a weight loss diet plan?

If so, when reviewing diets for your weight loss plan, try to determine the following:

1. Is this plan flexible to my personal needs and schedule?   Will it require too much time or will I be able to devote ample time to learning the diet plan, and have time to do the activity outlined in the weight loss diet plan?

 

2. Speaking of which, does the diet plan come with activity recommendations? Note: You'll lose fat much faster with activity while gaining muscle mass and strength. And everyone likes a toner...

3. Is the weight loss diet based on the guidelines set out by the USDA on the official Food Pyramid?

4. Does the weight loss diet contain a backup plan for support? Once you begin you certainly don't want to go into the Yo-Yo phase which can be more unhealthy than not going on a diet.

5. What are the promises set forth in the weight loss diet?   Are they real?   Or do they sound miraculous?   If so, keep in mind that only God can perform miracles.

6. Does the weight loss diet plan require you to purchase special foods, gadgets, hula hoops and castanets?

7. Does the weight loss diet provide a good deal of daily menus?   Does it offer beverage suggestions?   Or does it come with a fold out pin-up of the Diet Guru who created the weight loss plan?

These are some good questions that should be asked before heading into the Wild Diet Country.   There are definitely great diets that abound - and a good many at that. More than ever, weight loss methods are branching out here and there.   Pick a great weight loss diet, stick with it until you reach your goal weight, and keep in mind that generally, great things require a lot of time, effort and hard work.   If you want that thinner you - you can certainly have it!
