Standard Weight Chart for Women, What Should I Weigh?

 

Keep in mind that weight should never be set in stone. In fact, as you age your weight will take on some dramatic changes. While you may have been thinner in your youth, pregnancy tends to promote weight gain. Even our age changes the shape and tone of our bodies; in our golden years we may ten to twenty pounds more than we did in our youth.

If we live past 70 our weight may even decrease to less than what we weighed in our post-teen years.

Our weight is also dependent upon our current level of health.

Note that the weight chart for women below is merely a pattern for recommended weight. Please get with your physician to determine your appropriate weight.

As a pattern for ideal weight find your height in the appropriate Ideal Weight Chart, then choose "Large Frame". Look at the largest number in the range; start your diet by aiming to reach this number as a goal weight. From there, you can keep losing until you reach your ideal weight.
